About JROTC

JROTC stands for Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps. It is a Federal Program that is sponsored by the United States Armed Forces in high-schools across the United States of America and over seas.  JROTC is a class that teaches students how to become leaders and better citizens by utilizing the principles of the military.

Why should you join JROTC?

 

  • To learn the ethical values and principles that underlies good citizenship.

  • To develop leadership potential, while living and working cooperatively with others.

  • To be able to think logically and to communicate effectively with others; orally and in writing.

  • To learn the importance of high school graduation for a succussful future, and learn about college and other advanced educational and employment opportunities.​

  • To develop mental management abilities.

  • ​To develop the skills necessary to work effectively as a member of a team.
